ABOVE THE LAW NEWS BRIEF (APRIL, 2003)
There hasn't been anything major going on in the past month(s) worth reporting. Above The Law is working on making WestWorld Records a viable and contending independent label. We have been getting alot of emails concerning where to pick up previously released ATL albums and 12" and simply your guess is good as ours. Most of the product from Ruthless and Tommy Boy have been sold out, which resulted in being out of print. We suggest you check retail stores and the internet (probably overseas would be a good start), you might find some albums hidden away. All past ATL albums are property of the above stated record companies. If those labels were smart they would re-master and re-issue all those classic albums, so that ATL would be a certified Gold and possibly Platinum artist and so that Hip-Hop listeners can hear why ATL are Legends . The Hip-Hop community knows that they are worthy of such honor and title.
THE STREETS ARE TALKIN'
Word on the block is that KM.G is working on some new heated material that may surface on A.T.L.'s album and/or his own debut L.P. The rumor mill is saying that the G Funk originators may collaborate with Snoop Dogg in the very near future. We can only imagine what kind of chemistry those two camps can bring to the West if it happens. Will ATL's legendary G-Funk beats and rhymes be heard on an upcoming video game?
