It doesn't have a heart. It's just a cheap business that promotes a handful of individual players rather than teams.

he said the 90s and 80s had heart..even the early 00s. now, its just completely watered down

Bron, KD, Westbrook, Steph, Harden, Blake. 90% of the talk in the NBA revolves around these six players.

They have some other players they can push like Melo, CP3, Lillard, Wall, etc. when those first six have the day off.

Then everyone else in the NBA just doesn't matter. You know going into the season 24 teams almost have no chance of winning a ring based on 20-something years of the best rosters always winning easy.

Players taking nights off, playoff races don't matter because 7-8-9 seeds have no chance to do anything anyway. The league needs to revamp dramatically.

The West is as competitive as it's ever been. I am loving that.

But there's almost an asterisk next to the Spurs and Thunder. One team is just coasting to preserve veterans until the games actually mean something and the Thunder have been slammed with injury all year or they could/would likely be the 2 seed.
