Clearly nobody would give a shit about Menace had he not been riding with Game, so he does owe him that. But as far as Game's background personally, it's hard to argue when you hear the same things over and over. For me it's all about music and I've felt the same way about Game for a while, so the shit doesn't tend to influence me one way or another. But I think it's pretty obvious that the persona he puts on was largely manufactured for the industry. Not saying that's entirely unique either, it's just funny how insistent Game is on projecting the image he does.
