Jerry Hellar gives the utmost respect to DOC as an artist, saying that had it not been for his accident, he would've ended up being one of the greatest of all-time.  However, Hellar blames DOC a lot because he says it was DOC who brought Suge into the picture, and next thing he knew he'd walk in the office to find Suge lounging on his easy chair and shit like that.

I was also reading an article online (unfortunately I don't have my own copy of it), from the 92' Source with Dre on the cover (gun to his head) and Dre said, "I'm only doing this fuccing album (the Chronic) because DOC talked me into it", and then they talk about Snoop and basically made DOC out to be not only a ghost-writer for Snoop but some sort of a life-coach to keep him out of trouble...

Then suddenly, after the success of Doggystyle, DOC isn't around anymore and he's dissin Dre on his solo album Heltar Skeltar (stealing the title for the Dre/Cube album).  The album was terrible, so I didn't listen to it enough to remember if he mentions Suge on it, or if there was ever a falling out with Suge as well.

Then, ofcourse Dre and DOC linked back up again around 98 or so and they've been cool ever since.

Only thing i know bout his role back then is that he wasn't a ghost writer for snoop, he was more of a coach for him. I read it numerous times in articles that in the beginning snoop had the lyrics but didn't know how to structure them into verses and hooks, so DOC teached him everything about really making a song out of lyrics, how long certain verses had to be and so on...
Back then snoop was unable to structure his lyrics properly, so DOC coached him in that point.
He was clearly a ghostwriter for the chronic, along with snoop & also rbx on let me ride, but thats common knowledge.
Thats the only thing I know.

As far as i am aware DOC left Deathrow and started dissing Dre due to him not getting paid..or not getting paid as much as he deserved.
But that was the common problem with all of them back then...almost every beef from NWA to the fall of Deathrow was over people not getting their money.

That Helter Skelter album is good it is just DOC's voice that is not like it used to be for obvious reasons.
The track "From Ruthless 2 Deathrow (Do We All Part)" is a banger and DOC spits fire on that track...sadly its let down a little bit by his voice

No he's not:
"Even during all of that fuckery [during the early days of Death Row], I still had to take [Snoop Dogg] under my arm and [be] like, “Snoop, we’re not just making street raps no more. We’re building songs now, and this is how you do it.” I’ll give you a for instance, [“Nuthin’ But A ‘G’ Thang”] was a street rap [originally written by Snoop], and I said, “Snoop, this is what we gon’ do, we’re gonna take this line right here that’s dope as fuck, we’re gonna erase this part down here, [and] I want you to try this part again. We’re gonna move this part up to here ‘cause the flow sounds better. And I want you to write a whole ‘nother second verse [for Dre]: start the second verse with this line, then go down to here, and then [have Dre] end the whole rap with my name.” Now, that’s [technically] called producing. That’s actually called writing. But I never asked for credit for that; never got credit for that. Never got a dime for it. Because it’s all for the family. We’re doing this so that we can all blow up."

2 Corinthians 6:8
By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true;

6:9
As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;

6:10
As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

 WitSome more interesting shit from the article is dre, although off Ruthless, still takes a couple serious shots at Cube...in one instance he compares him to Eazy, saying he produced and directed them in the studio and made them stars athat he could've done that with any nicca off the sts, then he compares cube to timdog saying his biggest song on his record is the one he puts dres name in
