Upon completing his service with the military and returning to Oakland, Mopreme Shakur tells VladTV that it was a couple of months before he reconnected with his step-brother, the legendary Tupac Shakur. In this exclusive clip, Mopreme - an artist in his own right - speaks on how he was focused on his emerging hip-hop career, and how he and Tony! Toni! Toné! linked up for their smash-hit "Feels Good."

At that time the future member of The Outlawz was going by the moniker Mo-Cedes the Mellow, and no one knew that he and 'Pac were brothers. He goes on to explain how he was "the first one in the family on a hit record," and a few other details many may have not known about him and 'Pac.

Happy that they both were emerging within hip-hop, Mopreme then speaks about how his early success worked to inspired the iconic "I Ain't Mad at Cha" lyricist. "I was doing it - that record was number one. ['Pac] was already creative, but he hadn't made it yet professionally. He was inspired." Mopreme recalls. "Then he linked up with Digital [Underground] and they took him on tour and the rest is history."

"By him being with Digital he was increasing his visibility and status on the music scene, but he wasn't fully put on until "Same Song." He still didn't have a record deal, but n****s knew him now," he remembers before adding that 2Pac was blessed to be in that situation, as it ultimately led to his critical role as Bishop in "Juice."

Be sure to watch the full clip to get more insight on how Tupac would become a celebrated actor before dropping his debut album and how "Juice" actually led to his record deal above.
