nevermind.. I just saw the footage... and it didn't look like much of a throwback type thing, it actually looked pretty controversial and updated for today... so yeah... I don't think Dre really wants to be a part of that... in a way I think it lacked taste, like they were just trying to capitalize on all the media hype about the Baltimore riots, Michael Brown, Eric Garner, etc...

...I still don't think that's the main reason Dre didn't show up.  I think he maybe only likes to do things he thinks will be really big, creative, and innovative (like Coachella was with the Pac hologram), and he is just a recluse in general.

yeah but even so I doubt they would really televise a lesser known song from N.W.A. like that lol let alone having Dre show up for that
