ya'll speak about europe like its one place, its a bunch of countries each different from the next..

firstly. in my mind, funerals are a private family thing, and its for the family to handle their own private business.
secondly. its sure as hell not the responsibility of the mother of a dead guy he used to be friends with for a minute almost 20 years ago to pay for it.

But he says they started makin serious bread around 98 off that independent release they had and touring off of that, he said he had mansions and cars and all that shit by 99-2000.  He says they sold like 300,000 independent so they really got to eat off that (as opposed to it bein a major label album)

them having some money FIFTEEN years ago, especially before the whole music industry took a nose dive won't have lasted all this way.

I think what Dax means is that American culture is so much different than the culture in any European nation. For instance, it's a regularity out here to put up a commemorative fund raiser for people to pay condolences to a lost one by donating towards funeral costs. It's considered a sign of respect, but I can see how that would be mainly an American thing.

What sccit???
You saying Americans got a monopoly on respect???
I'll admit, that there are different customs that reflect ones respect within different cultures, but I wouldn't say America got any kind monopoly on the coming together as a community in the event that a loved one passes.

I could understand how some ppl might think it a bit cheap to crowd source on web for funds for a funeral, but my in laws were short on cash n made it up within the family unit n by requesting donations on Facebook...

Its not unheard of....

I got a rich cousin who's wife did a go fund me thing to pay for her kids basketball trip to the states...

All cultures seek collective help from the many n varied communities that live in this world...

Napolean left the rap game, stopped living the fast life, and turned to Islam.  He now lives and owns businesses in Saudi, coffee shops and stuff like that—and does motivational speaking.  Point is, maybe all the other Outlawz kept living the life and blew through all their money—but Napolean managed to save and invest a lot of the money he made off that first independent release and subsequent tours.

This is not a diss to Fatal, I love Fatal, and God bless the dead—but he does strike me as the type that likely blew through his money and didn't die with a whole lot.
