Lakewood Mall Incident

Here's a Police interview from a Southside Crip who was present and participated in the altercation which took place at the Lakewood Mall with the MOB Piru's prior to the trip to Vegas. (Obviously this was the incident which ultimately lead to the murder of 2Pac, where Travon Lane got his Death Row medallion snatched, the Vegas beatdown ensued and 'Pac was shot.)

I know that there was doubt surrounding whether this incident ever actually happened

I don't want to take anything out of context, but I found some of his posts.

Yeah, the beef with tray and lane initially started when tray beat up someone from the southside. For some reason baby lane took it personal bekuz he was the one trying to hunt down tray after that. Tray one time was outside a stash spot with 2 other niggaz when lane rolled up on him with big dre driving and pulls out a gun and tries to shoot but the gun jammed, tray ducked back inside to get his gun but dre sped off. The next day tray sent some younger mob niggaz to burris lane which is the heart of south side territory here in kompton to fire at orlando and them, but as soon as them niggaz hit the top of burris lane i guess the southside niggaz had like a kid who was like 11-12 years old serving as a lookout who yelled something and next thing you know baby lane jumps out of nowhere and started firing at them and hits one nigga in the shoulder. They speed off and 2 months later tray is at the lakewood mall with lil mo and k and when baby lane runs up on him with like 5 niggaz and jump him in the mall.

All 3 of them got jumped. Lil Mo was sitting down trying on shoes and tray and k.w. was standing in front of him, they all had their backs turned away from the exit (which was dumb) when baby lane blindsides tray with a punch that knocks him out. He then grabs the deathrow xhain and they jump lil mo and kw. Tray kaught alot of backlash for how he handled his beef with baby lane. He was always under attack from baby lane, the one time that tray tried to strike first baby lane ends up lighting up the kar. That right there made him look bad. If tray took kare of baby lane maybe pac would still be alive today. Kuz that vegas situation would of never went down. But its something that tray will live with forever. A lot of people think he was skared of baby lane.

Niggaz had a full plate.... Mob didn't just have beef with the southside. and yes bountry was lookin for lane but bountry was lookin for like 20 other niggaz as well. After the Lakewood mall thing mob stepped up and started takin lane a little serious. But they didn't find him til Las Vegas

The biggest thorn in his side. Tray don't live in kali no more and part of it is bekuz of what happened in Vegas And the hate he got for how he handled his beef with baby lane. But to his kredit he did send shooters to Burris to hit lane. But it just didn't work out how it was suppose to
