Yeah, a couple of beats from his first album were Chronic leftover beats. But to be honest, I think what was put on Regulate... the G Funk Era came off much better than the originals. Runnin' wit No Breaks was the original Next Episode that was suppose to be the last track of Doggystyle.I have that Rat-tat-tat-tat remix, I'm looking for it as we speak Infinite and I'll post it as soon as I find it. But I will say, like the Next Episode, it sounds a lot like a rough draft and it's a bit awkward, especially after hearing how the final version of Rat-tat-tat-tat sounded. The OG version also sounded too sped up, so I'm not sure if it leaked that way or what. But yeah. I'm looking, I didn't realize how many OG tracks I've gathered in my time. I really hope we see all these tracks, studio quality, released soon. I mean, hell, if Apple Music wanted, they can do that and I know I'd stick with them. Got my 3 month free trail right now.

Interesting... a couple things come to mind...-It's not necessarily a Dre beat, it was most likely production and work that Warren did for the Chronic that got scrapped-With the song being a Chronic leftover, I'm happy to hear Suge let Warren take it with him over to Def Jam. Because it seemed like they left Warren high and dry and he had to come up with all new material, but that's cool to find out that some of it was from the Chronic sessions. No telling how much dope shit was originally conceived in those Chronic sessions and then later ended up on subsequent Death Row and Death Row affiliated releases.
It was reported that Daz and Warren G put in a lot of work on the production side of the Chronic. Dre did the main work, but Warren and Daz would find the samples. Basically Warren used those samples at Def Jam, he didn't really take the complete beats over.
