Jay-Z Recorded "Nasty" Tupac Diss Track.
« on: August 13, 2015, 10:17:00 PM »
"If he was alive, there woulda been no coming back," DJ Clark Kent.

DJ Clark Kent says that Jay Z recorded a Tupac diss track.

"It never came out because out of respect for the fact that he died," says longtime Jay Z collaborator DJ Clark Kent on A Waste of Time podcast with ItsTheReal. "Jay did a record going at 'Pac, but right as it was about to come out, son died."

Tupac died in a still unsolved 1996 shooting in Las Vegas.

DJ Clark Kent, who brought Jay Z and The Notorious B.I.G. together, says that Hov's pride led him to perform the Tupac diss track at the Apollo Theater, a famous concert venue in Harlem, New York.

"It was scathing," DJ Clark Kent says. "Like crowds was like, 'Oh shit.' Like it was super hard, super hard. If he was alive, there woulda been no coming back. Nothing. This was so tough. Like it, to me, it probably was one of the hardest diss records I've ever heard.  "

The producer says that few people have heard the track and that there has been temptation to release it.

HMMMMMMMM interesting THOUGHTS?

If Pac had gotten one more year, his status would had evolved so much futher.. Jay would had been another boy murked on wax.

Hope J-Cole catches feelings over this, and kills that overrated sob. ;D

This is about as real as the LOX freestyle about Aaliyah "Rock the boat/rock the boat/another dead bitch in a Rocawear coat" - something that exists only in the heads of the deluded as it never occurred.

Must be that time of the month..

The very fact that it was performed at the Apollo and noone can recite or remember a rhyme shows you the real. The closest you have to truth in this ducktale is this:

My skills are and will remain ahead of you guys
And ain't nothing gon' change that (dead or alive)
Any ill feelings I harbor y'all can blame it on the vibe
Don't know when to let go and let young souls die
Cause niggas dissing me ain't nothing new understand
But it's how I retaliate which defines who I am
Jay Z, ain't nothing dead or alive playing me
I take beef to the grave that's how my momma raised me
She told me "fight in your afterlife, never revamp your story"
So heaven or hell niggas better have some answers for me
Hollering shit from 89, Hawaiian Sophie
God damn y'all been on my dick a long time

Hmm...

We outlawz motherfuckas can't kill my pride
Niggas talk a lot of shit but that's after I'm gone
Cause they fear me in physical form let it be known
I'm troublesome

In 1996, at the height of the East Vs West beef between Biggie and Pac, many targets in the East were hit, and one of them was Jay Z. During the beef, an upcoming rapper named Jay Z decided to keep his mouth shut, knowing that 2pac had no problem escalating any feud into murder. Many rappers accused Jay Z in the later years of having been shook, and before this record came out, no official Jay Z diss song was found. It is very likely that this song , which was released in the DJ Clue Mixtape ‘Show Me The Money'in 1996, was released after Tupac’s death, since The Makaveli album (which was riddled with Jay Z disses) came out in November 5th 1996, 2 months after 2pac’s death. So there is no way that Jay Z could have heard the 'Hawaiian Sophie’ diss while 2pac was alive because the album was released posthumously  // About "Dead Or Alive Part.1"

Not sure when this diss song was wrote.

I highly doubt that even if this track exists that there would be "No coming back" from it...Pac would have destroyed Jay

I respect Jay....

But if Pac was still alive...Jay-Z success wouldn't be the same

This track wouldn't make too much noise.

Hit'em up>>>>>all diss songs.

Even on hit'em up, gay-z is getting the Fuck Jay-Z before Nas used it. But unfortnally they removed it because Hussein Fatal R.I.P, was on the eastcoast and heard nothing from jay towards tupac, so he told pac about it and they removed the line, but they shouldn't.

I bet Clark Kent is just dickriding and actually referencing "Dead Or Alive Pt. 1" which been out

I fuck with Nas and Jay but neither one of them were defeating Pac at the time, maybe if it were later in 2001 but that's a whole other fantasy discussion

Clark Kent has been on some trolling shit with jay-z dissing other greats to immortalize Jay.  I listening to his Juan Epstein podcast and he was all upset because Jay was rapping fast in the beginning and was giving him the credit like he started it, and Rosenberg and Cipha Sounds were like but no one had heard Jay-Z yet and he was like Das-Efx did it first, dude was bugging out.

On topic I'm a fan of Jay, but I was also in high school around the time Death Row, Wu Tang were on top and Jay-Z had no clout and no real hit, except "ain't no nigga" he was foxy brown hype man at that time so how could he destroy Jay?

It's sad because now that PAC is gone, and his era is as well,
I would never consider Jay is being a part of that era because his record didn't sell and fell on deaf ears
Nationally, Bad Boy/Death row artist had hits that sold millions, how could an artist that had no business in the west? talk shit at that time?

Jay also spent the least time out here rarely does show and promos out here... Every east coast artist does or has, but he never has.  Espeacially after biggie got killed, I doubt it was PAC's death that the reason the diss never dropped
It was Biggie's because where and how we was killed. You can be touched out here weather your from here or out of town.

No. If he was alive he would've finished destroying Jay-Z entirely.

I'm not hating but I thought it's always been obvious that Jay-Z's career benefited largely from the untimely deaths of Big L, 2Pac, and Biggie. After that the West Coast fell off so his only competition was Nas and we saw what happened there.

But if somebody was real good, they coulda easily penned a great diss against pac, talkin about him bein a ballerina and an actor, fake gangsta, etc....but jay ain't got that in him, so we know this bs

Still upsetting how he took shit from pac that pac woulda never vouched for if he were alive... I agree, jay-z would be ja rule status if pac was alive.
