Quik ties with him, But Dr Dre suffer from laziness, that's what makes Quik be better than him.

"NO OTHER" ? Mark BATSON must be crazy

Quik.

He probably forgot about Quik.

Quik seriously needs to discover his Kendrick Lamar and introduce his music to younger audience. I was at the other forum and when I mentioned Quik, none of the kids knew him. They thought I spelled Quick wrong.

Quik don't need that younger audience..in 10 years these rappers will be replaced by others "hottest" rappers.

In 10 years, DJ Quik will remain the same legend..!

PS: Dr Dre didn't discovered Kendrick Lamar....

I listen to Kendrick since Kendrick Lamar EP..i don't see Dre there .

By the way I listen Kendrick since this:

<a href="https://www.youtube.com/v/bCDuFECnWOM" target="_blank" class="new_win">https://www.youtube.com/v/bCDuFECnWOM</a>

The Game let the TDE boys (at the time) shine..

This track was a banger back in the day

Can't forget this:

I remember seeing Kendrick's name here and there but let's be honest ain't nobody really rode with him until Dre shouted him out at radio.

It's nice to see that Game gave him some light cause I honestly didn't know about those tracks. The earliest I remember was seeing him on Focus...'s projects. Focus..had Kendrick on one of his homage songs.

I don't know man. As a fan, I just wish Quik gets half the recognition that Dre's gets. Sonically, Quik is crisp and top notch but rap wise, he doesn't really appeal to many people.

i thought he was tryna do that with his son....i mean, cats talkin about quik keepin his ol' school sound is as far from the truth as could be. midnite life had a slew of songs wit a modern sound and swag raps throughout the album.

I agree. Quik keeps his sound modern without losing character. Dre and Quik are two dudes that I know without even looking at the credits, I know they produced a record just by the sound.

Kendrick's King Kunta had Quik written all over. It was a hit single too. Quik's sound still appeal to mass audience if it's delivered by some younger more appealing messenger.
