What a beat, Quik needs some skilled management as he certainly has the talent but doesn't have the business acumen. This sounds like a cross between old funk, new school and something that Prince would have strutted around wearing assless chaps to.

Especially in the middle parts.

With a bit of reediting, some new structure and breakdown with the right artist and a good hook this has hit written all over it, bit too late for the summer as it would've knocked all through but any season is good for a nice beat.
