I'd rather get an album from Mez.  I feel like Mez can carry a whole song better than Paak.  Paak is dope and extremely talented, but can he really carry a full song as a solo artist with all that singing?  I don't think so.  He comes off too soft and too pretty with that singing voice.  He's not like Nate who can keep it gangsta while singing, he doesn't have that power.

well did u hear his venice album? it was dope as fuck, and this one will probably be, as well. he's not a gangsta rapper/singer, he talks more on a deep tip, with more soulful melodies than hard ones.

Cool I'll keep an ear out for this.  I didn't like him at first on Compton, but the more I listened the more I appreciated his style, and after his appearance on The Documentary 2.5 I'm officially a fan.  He reminds me a lot of Frank Ocean.

Don't get me wrong, he's one of my favorite new artists, and I'm sure I'm gonna like his albums when I check them out.  All I'm saying is that I'd rather have an album from Mez

mez is cool, but not as talented...as far as rappers, jon connor was the best new talent off the compton album.
