Top Dawg Gives Update On TDE's 2016 Plans

Top Dawg, gave an update on their plans for 2016.

Starting with ScHoolBoy Q, whose album is apparently just waiting to have its samples cleared (which also delayed Oxymoron quite some time in 2014), the update ran down the list of signees and where their next projects are at in the creative process. Both SZA and Isaiah Rashad, who recently released "Smile" and "Nelly," seem to be just under Q in terms of advancement of their projects, Ab-Soul's next project is "mixing," and Kendrick and Jay Rock
seem to still be in the planning stages. If this is in order of readiness, it seems Top wants the album fully mixed before they move on to the creative and marketing aspects of the album.

Also, according to Top, the label plans to signing two artists this year, with one of them in the advanced stages of a project, too. As for Black Hippy, though? We're "praying" for a 2017 release.
