Ego got over-inflated, thought he was like God basically.  And was surrounded by yes men.  That's a bad formula.

GRODT didn't hold up that well at all.  Just a few tracks I could even listen to today.

But I can't front, I jammed window shopper the other day.  Love that beat.

He just re-recorded what other people already recorded for him.

In my eyes, 50 played a wrong role. Like said before, he had great story behind him - and instead of going into more pop/club oriented tracks, he could've go into more grown man music. Tone down a bit. That would keep him runnin still i think. His albums got more and more average, with no actual vision, so no wonder people forgot about him.

Altho, i keep on checkin him out. He got many dope tracks out right now. He should take a step back and forget about playin a big audience, do some music for hiphop heads.

the only living rapper who never once fell off behind the mic is Scarface

EDIT: and Pusha T

Nas
Xzibit
E-40
Tech N9ne

all 20+ years in the game never fell off and at least semi relevant.

Nas fell off at one obvious point with Nastradamus, Xzibit has a sub-par album or two in his catalog, I love E-40 and don't wanna say he "fell off" but he's had some average to wack joints on his last few albums, Tech N9ne I will maybe agree with as he's only gotten arguably better with age

Naah techs best shit was his first few albums
