The 'magic' is in adobe photoshop (you can get it on kaaza or win mx)

For instance, the Lou Bega picture was 1 picture that was cut and paste and edited on 12 frames. The secret is using the magic wand to capture a portion of the image (lou bega's  hand) and then re-positioning that (on a transparent background) on each frame.

Then you use any gif animation software you like to stack the images in a .gif file. It's really easy.
