Fo'Clips has been mentionned above. Very talented, unfortunately killed too soon :Check his album "Just be thankful" if you haven't already. Pure G-Funk, soulful and gangsta.
Thanks a lot guys, I appreciate the suggestions up to now, keep them coming. I found a couple of new artists that I'd like to check out further, but overall most of these were way too soulful for me. I am looking for singers with a gangsta feel to it, similar to the ones I've listed. Can I get some more info on Jelly Roll?? I've known him for ages from his features on high profile west coast rappers, but apart from that It is difficult to find if he has any solo tracks or less famous features. All results bring up the Dirty South Jelly Roll instead (who is super dope as well, don't sleep on him)I also couldn't find jack on The D.E.E.P. , not even a single track.
Max b!!! Everyone needs some wave.
