Tha Realest comments on Row/DPG beef
« on: April 28, 2003, 08:53:57 AM »
Here are my comments on the Deathrow/DPG beef. I hate it. I mean who here agrees on this::  Daz & Outlawz = $$$
Deathrow & DPG = $$$. Why all the hate?? $$$??? If Daz did get done outta money he should have taken it like a real man would and if he had personal problems, then go to Suge personally. Dont be bringing that BS to wax cause when u take it to wax you prevent a lot of young niggaz to come up. A lot of hot young cats from the west dont know who to go to - deathrow?? Or what about aligning up with Daz I'll get smashed on by deathrow. So there's a lot of different feeling. I feel we need to cut out this bullshit and stupid beefs within the coast is what keeps the coast down. Dont blame the east, dont blame the media, blame yourselfs (Daz & Tha Row)

If they didnt have a beef on wax or ANY disses then we'd all think they be cool and they would be having their problems themselves and not creating a fanbase entitlement for the beef for making people pick a side/crew feel me so I think with this beef never having started with Snoop then tha row would have Crooked's album out. Younger catz would be able to come up a lot easier without having to feel like "Who do I roll with on the west, shy, Im gonna have these enemies if I roll with these folks, but have them enemies if I roll with they other folks" understand what Im talkin about?

They destroyin the west without even realising it, just for a few measily buck$ for the present time to sell there Dysfunktional/Row Killa/DPGC & Bad guy but that's just 4/5 albums gonna get sales through this beef. Think of ALL the westcoast ones that could have been or would have been from the yung ones if it wasnt for this stupid bullshit

Well Realest has a point, the Row/DPG beef aint good for the West, its fuking up a lot of relationships... There would be more song like Crook In me with Crooked I (Row Artist) & Nate Dogg (DPG artist) + DPG (Daz & Kurupt)would still be together.. And Imagine a Crooked I album with Kurupt, Roscoe, Snoop, Nate, Eastwood, Daz, ect..

Question and comment:

1. Is that a direct quote from Jevon Jones? What source did it come from? Because after reading it twice (that shit is written or transcribed by someone who was hittin that stick too many times), that shit hardly makes sense and it doesn't sound like something he would say IN PUBLIC, especially when dealing with D.R.

2. Also was this beef the reason why Crooked I wasn't able to release "Untouchable" or why Jones was on the label for years without even releasing a commercial single? (this shit don't make sense logically).

3. Most of that shit he says in that wack ass song was "alleged." As a fan of M.J.'s (Magic Johnson) and speaking to him at a conference, he said that he basically caught AIDS from the "Wilt Chamberlain" syndrome (which for those that know during Wilt's NBA career he reported to have had sex with at least 1,500 women). M.J. was to have had over 2,000 sexual relations with women other than his wife. So all that gettin' fucked in the ass shit that Jevon be poppin' is innacurate. And most of that other shit he said is true, but if you in the business, you know shit about Will Smith, Jada Pinkett, and others.
Shit I can make a song about shit I saw that happened in the world famous "Peanuts" establishment concerning a famous "Queen", but  real "niggas" let that shit go and be done with it (although Foxy Brown did speak on a subject similiar, in a dis record, a few years back). He was beefin' with fools who didn't even know he existed, so technically he was part of keeping the "west down" then too right? I think the shit is fake, but he would never speak negative about DR in public (take my word on that shit).

For the last time, do not believe ANYTHING this Mickaveli character says regarding Tha Realest or his surroundings. I don't know where he gets this false information, I'm guessing he has an "internet-source" that just feeds him false information. I'm sorry to say Mickaveli, but everytime you've posted information regarding Tha Realest and/or his label it has been completely false, not just a little, but totally false. I wish I had a way to post audio of Tha Realest quoting that it's false himself, but at this time I can't do it. Just take my word for it.

Tha Realest has many homies from DPG at this point in time. He's also homies with Crooked I. Many of you don't believe him and Crooked I are still cool, but Crooked I was asked about Tha Realest in a recent interview and he said himself "we're homies and we always have been homies". I can't quote which exact website it was, but when I find out which one it was I'll quote it.

You guys know how Tha Realest is, if he has something to diss or speak on, he'll freely do it without caring what is going to be said. The past is the past, but at this point in time he has NO beef in the rap game with any of his "Death Row enemies" since leaving the label. He's started fresh. But he would never speak to a third party source regarding his feelings on a current affair in his coast...the west. If he had something that deeply to say, and if he thought it'd have that much of a meaning to the public, he'd speak on it. But he has homies from both of those parties, so it's not at ALL what Mickaveli quoted.

If you don't believe me, wait until the album drops. Witness Tha Realest is coming and many of you will be shocked to see what's being brought to the table this time around. I understand many of you don't appreciate his music because of what's been said in the past by him, but he's moved on, and all those past beefs are gone. Like most of you said, many of them weren't beefs, just him riding for his then-label. I hope some of you will look past what was done on Death Row, and give the album a chance. The website, www.tharealest.com is under construction with a new web-design. But when it re-launches, the label distributor will be announced (which may surprise some of you), and the album details will be announced (final guest appearance list, producer list, etc). This time it's for real. I know info has been dropped for the past year regarding the album, but this time, there's REAL info to be dropped. Just keep your eyes tuned to it.

Thanks.
