Back durin ww2 a german fighter plane or suptin like that flew into tha empire state building but did no damage, I heard from a couple of places that if tha terroist attacked tha empire state buildin it wouldn't of done nearly as much damage due to tha way tha Empire state building was designed an built.

The buildings were bought down by the fire melting the steel, they were built to take a hit by a plane in the 70's althouth planes are bigger now they proberbly would have survived the impact.
The terrorists knew this so they chose planes with heavy fuel loads.
