New Songs For You All To Check
« on: May 05, 2003, 04:29:12 PM »
I don't know if any of you have heard these songs but they're definitely worth checking out. If you can't find them, just ask and I'll send them to you.

1. Redman - I Talk To Dead People (ft. BIG, Big L, Big Pun, and 2Pac)
   :This song is pretty good. The beat was produced by Eminem, and it was done good. The features don't have verses, they just have one or two lines and then Redman raps with them talking. For example: Cause my "back against the wall quit acting like a fool" that's what happens to the students when you keep them at the school.

2. Bubba Sparxxx - Nowhere
   :Another good song. At first, it doesn't sound like anything special until the beat comes in. Then around 1:00, the entire beat comes in and Bubba starts to rap. The beat is amazing when he raps. It's like a slower tempo but anyways it was produced by Timbaland. Some girl comes in on the chorus and sings pretty well. Definitely check this one out.

3. Gangstarr - Who Got Guns (ft. Fat Joe and MOP)
  :This song has a nice beat as well. Everyone on the song rips it, and the concept of the song fits the beat perfectly.

4. Ludacris - Higher (ft. Twista)
   :Once again, a great beat. Ludacris uses the verse that he had for the original Poppin Tags and just adds some more to it. Then Twista comes in and he does a good job of rapping too. As much as I like Act A Fool, this song is a lot better.

5. Ras Kass - The Seance (ft. Dr. Dre and Kokane)
   :A pretty good beat, but it's kind of plain. Anyways it's an awesome song and Ras raps good. Kokane sings the hook and its alright, but it stops after the first hook. I think it's only a snippet, and I'm guessing either Dre produced it and/or he raps in it.

6. 50 Cent - 21 Questions (Remix) (ft. Chops)
   :I donno who Chops is but this song is cool. The main difference from the original is the beat, which, in my opinion, is a little better. I never liked the original beat until it grew on me. Anyways, Chops comes in on the second verse and his is pretty good.

That's it for now. That's pretty much all I can think of. I hope those half-ass little synopsises helped give you an idea of the song.

1. Redman - I Talk To Dead People (ft. BIG, Big L, Big Pun, and 2Pac)
* mIRC-people, get this in #gangstamp3z from the "Big Mike - Rookie of the year mixtape"

2. Bubba Sparxxx - Nowhere
* mIRC-people, may find a Bubba-sampler in #rvppc

3. Gangstarr - Who Got Guns (ft. Fat Joe and MOP)
* Found this way back on some Kay Slay-tape, will be out on Gangstarr-album, so no need to get the version with Gay Slay's screaming ass.

4. Ludacris - Higher (ft. Twista)
* Where the hell ??

5. Ras Kass - The Seance (ft. Dr. Dre and Kokane)
* Where the hell ??

Redman is the only one rhymin'.

There are just lines (from other songs of theirs) from each one inserted during the song.  It's not really featuring them.

The whole song is red, but in like 1/3-1/4 of the bars his sentences are finished by dead rappers.
