1.  I've said that to people forever to those who believe in evolution...if that was true there would be no monkeys and apes.

8.  That is funny how they lock those.  On a recent road trip to Florida, I use to go in there and piss all over everything just to spite them for locking it and me having to ask for a key!

.....And one that I've always wondered....
When people say "That's selling like hotcakes".  I work in a grocery store and if we have a sale on All Detergent for $1.69 (which it was last week), I would be willing to bet it sells BETTER than hotcakes.  How would you say the All is selling then?

Evolution is mutation. Only a "selected" few mutate (evolve) while the rest stay the same. If that selected few's mutation makes them dominant they multiply while the original organism they mutated from stays the same and still exists.

The genetics mutate therefore making a whole new species. This is what I've learned in school loooooong time ago so it did explain why humans can't breed baby monkeys and so forth. I can't remember. Read up on "Natural Selection".

I believe in God but I don't believe we were created out of a mountain or wherever Adam and Eve came from.

A lot of new monkey species are being found in rainforests that never existed before. It takes thousands of years for evolution to occur also.

I'm just telling what I have learned in school whether it be bullshit or not. They have very detailed theories that make sense. I don't really know what to believe though. It's all theories. Not truths.

Monkeys and apes haven't stopped evolving at all,though human interference might slow it down. The reason we still have monkeys and apes is that when humans evolved they didn't compete with them so there was no reason for them to go extinct because of the evolution of our species. There are no other highly intelligent uprightwalking enviroment-changing monkeys or apes that are able to build spacecrafts or Simpson-mugs.And evolution allways goes on,if you don't evolve and thus,adapt,you go extinct.It's as simple as that. We dont fill out the same niche as mandrills or howler monkeys or chimpanzees or even tarsiers,so they haven't been outcompeted. It's a normal occurence to have primitive and more highly evolved creatures coexisting at the same time if they occupy different niches.

Okapi and giraffe
barbets and toucans
same case for humans and apes.

humans didn't evolve from apes.  We share over 98% dna with apes but we did not evolve from them. There was a group of animals previous to humans and apes that were in trees and the first "humans" left the trees while the ancestors of the apes stayed. The group that left the trees became humans and the group that stayed in the trees became apes

That's a misunderstanding,unless you don't see urang-utans as apes! It's like this,when adressing the evolution of apes and humans we get gibbons as the first split from the evolutionary way leading to us,followed by the urang-utan at about 9 million years ago,gorillas at about 6, and chimps and bonobos at ca. 5 milion years. From then on,all "apes" splitting off are "human",that is,above the level of chimpanzees.
It's true we didn't evolve from the modern apes,like you said,but we are derived from more primitive apes.
