Careful there Safe+Sound, CAPTAIN CAPSLOCK MAY HAVE TO BAN YO AZZ FOR DARING TO SPEAK DOWN ON THE MIGHTY MIGHTY WEST (even though the only switches they hit these days are on those hydraulic lounge chairs to get up from because their old ass hips hurt). Listen to other genres, expand your range. Rap is done and has been cooked for a long time as most of these new jacks are dripping wack juice that people force themselves to believe are dropping classics because there is so much noise out there. Facts are anyone who is lauded now wouldn't even be a C Lister back in 96 because thats when the competition was fierce and rap was what it truly was. Now its just a joke. But for real who the F wants to hear 50 year old multi millionaires talking about moving keys, busting caps and a bunch of ignorant chit they've already said a billion times before? Obviously most of the people on here but personally I find it all so derivative, trying to get by on former glories to fool the listener and themselves they've still got it when they ain't. At all. Will still peep for that new Doctor Snoopy album where he unveils his Nigmund Freud alter ego who sniffs a lot of cocaine and busts psychological raps. On the real I actually would listen to that. Know why? Its creative.
This isn't so much aimed at Dre but Snoop hyped up what the fans wanted then released a total clown show. Xzibit hyped new tracks, then a bait and switch sold the same product. Doggpound hypes up a new album that turns out to be a soundtrack with old music. Dre turned detox hype into a soundtrack dud and he's back to his old style yet we all wonder if anything ever comes of it after Compton was his 'grand finale'.
Of course it was. Maybe you got the bonus tracks from restless re-release.
