Teddy Riley produced No Diggity
"While credited to Teddy Riley, the musical backing is actually an incognito production by Dr. Dre, who was in the process of extricating himself from his label Death Row Records.[citation needed] The beat to "No Diggity" was initially offered to rapper 2Pac for his Death Row debut All Eyez On Me by label boss Suge Knight, but with Dre leaving the label he sold the beat to Teddy Riley."
Yes, Death Row was unable to use the Dre beat and was forced to remake it. They even used Teddy Riley's ex-group member from Guy (Aaron Hall) on the song. At the time Aaron Hall hated Teddy Riley. Just another example of how much Dre adds to the production. 2pac's song was cool, but production wise it was not good.
which 2pac song do you mean?
No love for Warren G's "Looking At Me"? Surprised no one has mentioned that.
Mack 10's - Hate in your eyes - not on anyone list?Chin Check and Hallo produced by Dre? then they should be close to a top 10 to.
