Damn, it's hard to pick just 5!

Too $hort, E-40, Spice 1, RBL/Black C, Dru Down.

Does Sacramento count? If so then I'd take Dru Down down and replace with Brotha Lynch.

The other ones that I love and had a hard time leaving out: E-A-Ski, Whoridas, Saafir, Del The Funky Homosapien, Mac Dre, Luniz, Rappin 4-Tay, Digital Underground, Paris, and again if Sacramento counts then X-Raided
