It's probably the weakest of his 3 mainstream albums, but it's still good. TPAB is his best work.
I wasn't a huge fan of DAMN. the concept of this album lends itself to my point about abstraction and distillation. There's a clear progression in this direction. DNA was a standout track for me. It's a close call between GKMC and TPAB but I think TPAB has the edge all around. GKMC was more cinematic though.
TPAB simply the most important record of the last decade.

I had to re-read this statement and it's not as far-fetched as I originally thought. It certainly is a unique album and nothing else in that time frame is similar or as experimental. My problem with K. Dot, as someone else has mentioned, is how often he changes his voice. He does it entirely too much for my liking and makes it difficult to listen to his album in one sitting.I don't have it rated as his #1 album. I'd say my list looks like this:1. Section 802. GKMC3. OD4. TPAB4. DAMN
