Sly Boogy's "Judgement Day" CD
« on: May 18, 2003, 06:39:08 AM »
Yo, does anyone know how many tracks are gonna be on Sly Boogy's "Judgement Day" album? I want to know, b/c I don't really feel like buying the cd, and having the cd only have 6 tracks. Thank you, peace.

Yo when I had Sly Boogy on my radio show, he gave me 15 of his Judgement Day CD's before it will actually come on May 20th.  It's got 15 tracks on it including his 1st single thats gettin radio airplay around the US called "California" and it's also got the Wake Up Show Anthem #7 freestyle w/ Rass Kass, Planet Asia, Sly Boogy, and others.  It's got a few freestyles on it too like his famous one over "Grindin" and another one over "Wanksta".  He rips shit up and he's hella tight.  I have already listened to the entire CD and it's way tight so go pick it up.

SLY BOOGY - JUDGEMENT DAY COMIN OUT MAY 20th
                                W/ HIS 1ST SINGLE "CALIFORNIA"

Dude you wanna question whether this tracklisting is real?? Mutha fuckin Sly Boogy gave me the CD before it came out.  He gave me 15 copies of his new CD "Judgement Day" comin out in stores on May 20th.  He gave me the CD in person, I think I know whether there are freestyles on them or there are not.  There still are good tracks on there though like:  California, Summertime, Jackin 4 Beats 2002, The Anthem #7.

Go Buy it, SLY BOOGY - JUDGEMENT DAY, OUT MAY 20th in stores.  Check it out. You should be able to buy it in most stores or go online to Virgin Megastore or amazon.com or some other places you know.

no doubt i'll still buy it, its just weird that hes puttin them freestyles on an album. I could understand if it was a mixtape but he rappin over diffrent beats which is kinda lame.

Oh yeah I think that track that I put down as "???? (Baby Boy)" is really that song "Haters".  I have the Summertime/Haters single from Sly Boogy and I'm positive he put them both on his album "Judgement Day".  On the CD I got from Sly it says the album comes out May 20th but he could've pushed it back.  It's already gettin mad airplay at Power 106 in Los Angeles and since Sway works for MTV, look out for Sway to promote it and publicize it when he appears on MTV doing MTV News or somethin.  Sway and King Tech co-produced it on Sway's record label.  The album has got about a 3:1, original track:freestyle ratio so it's still is good shit. And it's got all of Sly's old stuff and new stuff on this album.

same with me...rappin over different beats is jus supposed 2 be for promotion, not to actually get paid on, because i will listen to a freestyle a few times but never will it hold the same status as real songs, because after a few months u forget about freestyles.
