There is a beat playing throughout the trailer for the drinks champs episode on Nore’s IG that sounds very classic Dre’ish that I have not heard before.  Does anyone have info on that beat?  I don’t remember how to insert those videos on this forum, I’m old and washed up on DubCc nowadays

you just post the link and it posts automatically

If this is a ‘missionary’ beat, it's definitely going in the right direction.

This definitely some 2001 type shit.

But with Sam Sneed being credited on three tracks, I’m hopeful for that DR sound

It is indeed a dope beat, but I don't think it's from Missionary (just my opinion).
I very much hope i'm wrong, as it would be interesting how Snoop would sound over it!

Not from Missionary?  Then why is is soundtracking the Drink Champs interview?

I'm not saying it's definitely not from Missionary, it's just my opinion that I don't think it is (I very much hope it is as it sounds dope).
It very much has hallmarks of Still DRE with the hard drum beat and the same trombone melody.

Dre and the label seem to be very strict when it comes to officially releasing the snippets of the album
They dropped a small snippet of Gorgeous on the Missionary ad, but that was a proper official ad, so and it would be strange imo for them to release the beat from the album like this.
I would have thought they would of kept this gem under wraps so it will be a good surprise for those who will listen to the album for the first time.

Like I said, i hope i completely wrong and it is on the album!

hopefully the album has something you can bump your head to because right now it's sounding like a bunch of yes-men and we'll be lucky to get a few great tracks.

unthinkable really but then came Outta Da Blue which is possibly the worst track Dre has ever put out. the beat is horrendous, just the fact it made the album and they're actually pushing the song. nothing is off the table as far as quality goes.

Check the sample - Watermelon Fantasy - Daylight Studio.

Daylight Studio is a collective of disabled people from London.

I wonder if they knew this. If so it is a real nice gesture sampling them.
