So far it's pretty quiet on Snoop's and Dre's IG. No post to the cover or what comes tomorrow

Thoughts:

1) the OUTRO is amazing.

2) this song is catchy as fuck after three listens. They’ve got a hit song I think (could’ve avoided saying “fucking” in the chorus perhaps)

3) Snoop sounds OFFICIAL. Dre and him together has Snoops flow tighter than it’s been since the 90’s (yes, better than when he got back with Dre in the late 90’s and early 2000’s too).

4) still not sure the chorus needs to be so “soft” sounding, BUT it sounds like a summertime joint all the same

5) A prime Method Man is the only rapper who could match a young Snoops flow, and Meth hasn’t lost a step- excited to see him on the track list officially.

6) not having Kendrick on here is a huge missed opportunity

7) I hope Dre has a few vocals sprinkled throughout the album and maybe a surprise verse on a song (he isn’t listed on the track list and we all know he’s on Outta Da Blue but maybe the other track he recorded a verse for made it too?)

8) Whatever the case, this next few months are gonna be FUN for us OG fans of Snoop and Dre- excited to see what the rest of the album sounds like.

9) Lastly, maybe it’s just the nostalgia talking, but if there ever was a time to utilize some unreleased Nate vocals, this was it.  And a brief appearance from at least one DPG member would’ve been nice as well; but I guess we can’t have it all.  It’s not like Snoop and Dre aren’t trying to capitalize off the nostalgia with the theme of the album, etc.

10) anyone else peep Snoop at the end of his second verse (Follow me, Follow me) with the same vocal cadence as on Who Am I?

October London and Eric Sermon are missing, maybe there will be a deluxe edition with the CD release, First Single is Dope, hopefully a video for the single will be added tomorrow

I saw an interview where Erick Sermon said he’d be in the album, but I also know he’s working on a solo album so maybe Snoop and Dre will be on that?
As for October London, very weird he isn’t in the album of Snoop wants him to blow.

"Gorgeous" beat is dope and Snoop flow/vocals sound incredible.

Song is definitely a little poppy and I'm expecting this album to have a mainstream sound for sure.

I still have the feeling that Apple has released the cover and the tracklist too early, and that there is a lot of trouble there, the preview is only available at Apple Music US

Snoop's cadence on the Gorgeous sample is dope!
Glad Dre has got Snoop sounding his best vocally!!!

It does sound a little pop, but that's not a big deal as Doggystyle had some pop songs (who am I ,what's my name).

Yeah, I think first single needs to be like that to generate worldwide appeal for the full album.

Just happy we are getting something officially form the album tomorrow.

I know I’m going to bump it all day before I decide if It’s dope or not, at the end of the day it’s Snoop on Dre beat….easy decision for me 🤣🤣

I like the song. Production is top notch as to be expected. The muted horns are great. Chorus is fine but certainly does not make the song by any means. It could've easily been something else, and better.

And again, coming in at under 3 minutes, it's just too short. At 30+ years since the last Snoop record produced by Dr. Dre, this project needs a lot more meat on the bone. The only song under 3 minutes on Doggystyle was G Funk Intro. The actual records ranged from 3:31 - 5:38, which is where it should be. There were only three songs in the 3 minute range while the rest averaged in the 4s.

If in fact this track list is real, and the cover art is real.  Seems like the album is ready to go.

Why wait until December 13th to drop this?

Sadly, that’s music in the streaming era; the shorter the song, the more times you play it over and over.

Not Like Us was the first three verse rap song to hit number 1 in 10-15 years I remember reading.

I like it!

 The beat & Snoop’s flow  8)

I get what people are saying about the chorus , we shall see if it grows.

I like how the beat runs at the end too.

This beat for sure have Dre’s signature all over it

Probably going to drop like 2-3 singles and videos between now and the release of the full album

Have to admit, the single is pretty 🔥🔥🔥 after a few spins.  I love the horns during the second verse.  And the sounds during the outro are perfect.

Whoa. That makes sense but I just never stopped to think about how long it's been.
