Kendrick is boring.

Played this in the club, damn that bass hard.

Snoop sat on the sideline like a complete bitch while Drake used his voice without permission to diss Kendrick while he was holding it down for the coast.

Again, I don't blame you since this forum as a whole made the decision 20-25 years ago to be a Snoop Groupie forum that cannot criticize Snoop under any circumstances, but in 2024/2025, Kendrick is the one holding it down for 2pac and the West Coast.

Okay, so this is my personal opinion without hate. If you really try to enjoy the music and you have some headphones and not just a laptop or cellphone - the tunes are infectious - well sort of - certain elements because of Snoop's rapid fire delivery and the tempo of songs 1 and 3 - don't sound that bad. But the thing is - these tunes aren't memorable. With today's fast pace of everything dropping on Spotify overnight, too many music releases come and go because there's always new content. Something just ain't there.

If it is dope and catchy it doesnt matter you listen to it with a cheap headphone or not. If it is dope it is dope.

All this talk about Dre's production encouraged me to do my now annual "let's try to listen to Compton again and see if we misunderstood it the first 10 times we listened to it" private listening party. It's still as boring and sleep inducing as I remember. I guess so just don't like Dr. Dre's change in production post-Detox recording sessions. It still amazes me that Kush and I Need A Doctor didn't blow up.
I need a Doctor is the worst thing Dr. Dre has ever done. Pathetic.

The Dog fucking missionary really?

Its a funny fact that in real life/nature dogs don't fuck missionary; always doggystyle.

To call the album missionary could mean getting out of the comfort zone, snoop not wanting to be refered to as a dog anymore or even doing something completely wrong; something completely missing.

Is there some bad genius marketing plan behind this?

Don't be surprised if they win a grammy award or catch the public eye with outta da blue by sampling Watermelon Fantasy and sending all the proceeds to the disabled people's music group (it is a real/expensive sample of bass and vocals - not even a replayed interpolation).

And that in the end the album is just a promo for selling the liquor (not the other way around) so they can probably pay of debts of the last 10-15 years of expensive aftermath recording sessions.

its really weird that Dre is not releasing dope shit for 15 years, keeping the dopest shit in the vault (topless, hey young world, chrysler beat, even that how many mics song), because he is insecure (I need a doctor were probably his most truest lyrics) and all of a sudden he is comfortable enough to release some ugly weird shit like outta da blue with video and all.

On the other hand when the promo of forgot about Dre leaked, nobody liked it, it took a few weeks and a video to really realise the genius of that track.

The condom cover is actually better. There is a good message behind it: Practice safe sex! That album cover is juvenile.
