I must admit that there is hope again for this album! Looking forward to hearing it this friday. It's crazy that it finally will drop... let's try to enjoy it people. It will surely be a mainstream album, but I can live with that if it's good music! I would have been more concerned if they'd went the trap/drill/mumble rap route. I personally think they will also put "Thank You" as a bonus track, sounds dope to me.

What dissapoints me a little bit is that they barely talked deeply about some important topics of dre's career. Like WTF only a "yoo today is the 25th bday of 2001" and a little applause and that's it... They need to sit down again with Dre! It was way too short. Props to EFN and NORE though nonetheless, they really appreciated Dre and Snoop's presence. Nore even gave Dre his props for "The Firm"  .

After listening back to the playing of Thank You on Drink Champs, it does seem that Snoop was suggesting that Thank You was planned to go somewhere on Missionary with Dre trying to work out where to put it.

Does anyone know when the episode was recorded? Was it after the album was already mixed and submitted? It does seem weird that they were still recording music for it until quite recently if so.

Unless they are planning an expanded addition or something like most albums seem to do these days.

Dre on that “unfinished demo” playbook again. In detox days it was an intentional leak to feel out reactions. This time it’s to promo a deluxe version, I’m guessing

The interviewer specifically says there's 16 tracks and they played Thank you at the end, so maybe it will make the album afterall!
