I've just had a thought come to my mind!
Maybe 'Thank you' may not be on the album, in the same way 2Pac's 'Pain' wasn't on the Above The Rim OST! It was a monster of a track and on the intro to the film but never made the album for some reason (it was released as a B-Side to Regulate though).
I never understood why it never made it on the Above The Rim OST!!!

It was on the cassette but wasn't enough space for the last few songs on the CD so they were bonuses on the cassette.

I feel like they delayed the short movie to add "thank you" to  it...


Adding Thank You seems to be a last-minute addition..

i'm gonna say Thank You will not be part of the album (or released) because they're used the 'demo' version to promote the short film. doesn't seem like something they'd do if a 'complete' version was coming.

Wonder what the budget was for the 10-minute movie. I'm sure Interscope wrote a blank check.

Just got an email that my Missionary pre order is delayed until 20 December on Vinyl!!! Take what you want with that information!

They said there’s a delay with the manufacture & could be even more delayed… wonder if Thank You being potentially added has caused this!

it doesn't have any of the extra elements that Dre said he wanted to add or sounds like the final mix, it's the same that was played on Drink Champs. guess we'll see what happens...

Dre was playing the unfinished card so if it sucked then he doesn’t look bad… but with the positive response they got they used it on the trailer, Drink Champs & also on Cam’s podcast!

I recall one wanted 16 tracks & the other 14 so they settled on 15… but then they keep talking about 16 tracks & this Thank You track gets hyped!

Let’s wait & see! But I’ve been analyzing this detox shit since 2009… we starting to read Dre better these days! Plus Jimmy pushed for that track 100% he had a hard on at Drink Champs with that reaction
