it doesn't have any of the extra elements that Dre said he wanted to add or sounds like the final mix, it's the same that was played on Drink Champs. guess we'll see what happens...
Mix and Mastering should be judged on friday, listening to the entire album in high quality. These clips/leaks and audio rips always are compressed and converted. But what I hear on the official singles is that it's very bright mixed and mastered. Maybe Dre has lost his ability to hear higher frequencies. That happens to a lot of older people. Even younger peeps have tinnitus...But as I said, we should judge it on friday.

I wish they could use ai nate dogg vocal for last dance with mary jane's chorus. They really missed a chance.
Would be dope with Anderson .Paak, doing the Jelly Roll part.
I have already read from a few that Dre no longer hears so well in old age, that's why the highs are so loud, there was an interview on You tube after the Compton album of Focus, he had explained the mixing process and that they intentionally mix so high so that it highlights the voice. Sometimes they are 8 in the studio in the mixing process and Dre not alone mixed, maybe there is still the interview on You Tube
The possibilities are certainly much more extreme today when it comes to mixing, but if we take 2001 masterpiece for example, it might be because they mix the things in Atmos
I notice it in the car, I can turn up the new Snoop songs loudly and they are clear and distinct, after that Ice Cube comes on my play list they are quieter but the bass booms at the same volume that I have to turn down so that you can understand something. I find Compton worse because my loud speakers are scratching and the voices are not clean because it is too bright
The old albums of Dre are better mixed they have more bass on it and the voices are not so in the foreground, but as Focus said it is done on purpose, it had started from Compton, no idea why they find it better
