Did the full album leak or is it just snippets?

I listened to it once on my computer w/o full attention to it. Not the same thing as hearing it in a car or with headphones and just paying full attention to it.

Its a cool album. Doesn't blow me away, but definitely a good album for today's music standards.

I think if this album just dropped out of the blue with no promotion like Compton, people would be saying it is a great snoop album. Problem is (at least for this forum) it was so hyped up (for at least 2 years), and huge that dre was promoting it so much. The expectations were simply too high. There really is no way it could meet the expectations with all the hype around it.

However, if it dropped out of the blue and people had no idea that dre was the executive producer of the entire album, I think people would just think it is a great snoop album.

I'm hoping they both continue to work together more often going forward.

In Europe only  >:(15

just a matter of time, due to the time difference. In Japan there is suddenly only the 16 track version left

They should have led with the hip-hop songs and then introduced the pop songs after.

I think I like the way they did it, it kinda lowered some unreality expectations and also got a lot of people that are not die hard Dre & Snoop fan interested.

Performing with Sting on The Voice will get a different group of people interested.

I am liking the feedback from you guys so far, waiting patiently, I need to go watch a show or something until midnight to avoid listening to any leaks 😀

I only have heard the snippets so far. I need to listen to it on big speakers in my truck. Snoops flows seem good. None of the beats so far stand out on computer speakers.

I feel like Scott Storch doesn't get enough credit for the 2001 Dre beat style , which I prefer. I am not a huge fan of what I call the "Great Gatsby" Casablanco style beats. Most of my favorite Dre beats were basically Scott Storch beats.

Unmemorable album where nothing sticks out. Like Quik said the lyrics ain’t nothing if the beats ain’t crackin’ and nothing is crackin on this album. Nothing I think I can replay and go back too after some time after 2 listens now. The music sounds too sharp and not the usual Dre quality I was expecting. This is essentially Compton Pt 2. I’m just happy I save myself some money I was intending to spend.

But it is an album of the times and state of mainstream hip hop I guess.
