I think there are good bars and clever worldplays, i appriciate the ghostwriters. Also i heard old snoop dogg in some songs like hard knocks, thank you, pressure... i think his tone is very close to his tone in "the last meal" album. Snoop was already using ghostwriters in his wack previous albums. I like the way dre produced his flow, cadance, lyrics and tone. Snoop is really glowing on this album as one of the goats.

Yes, in songs like Hardknocks and Sticcy Situation, you can tell that he is comfortable and flows naturally.

i havent heard one person say they like outta da blue LMAO...that shit sucks.

Dre allowing snoop to release a janky Fire video by Da Baker is proof that Dre dont give a fuck. This was orders from the higher ups/marketing for nasty alcohol...all that said, pretty good, probably snoop's 5-8th best album for me
So much style back at it again

By the way i'm glad to see Dr. Dre collaborating with the producer "J.LBS" one more time on Gangsta Pose from Missionary. I think he should work with him more often.

Songs i remember dre worked with him are "Guns Blazing" and "Eta".

His productions for Kendrick, Baby Keem, D Smoke, Schoolboy Q, Dom Kennedy, SIR are dope too.

By the way I wonder why Dre changed Thank You sound - this one from Drink Champs sounds way better then final version.

agreed. he pushed hi signature sound effects and back vocals too behind, hard to hear. he also removed some elements from the bridge starts with "once upon a time..."

but song is still 9.5/10 to me.. with a dre verse and outro it would be 10/10... that song still needs to be produced, just like a few others from the album.

just to wish everyone in the thread a Merry Christmas. whether you love or hate the album, the ICU at the end of the day it's just music and Dre has given plenty of classics to go back and revisit. Snoop sounds pretty good regardless 8)

obligatory STILL GIN for everyone!

I also found it funny as Dr. dre said he would hate it if there were multiple producers on an album or that he wasn't that into it. Even if it was his team of producers, he didn't produce a track on the album alone, plus all the other producers

BoogzDaBeast
C.S. Armstrong
Danny Ezra Murdock
Eric Hudson
FNZ
J. BLS
Jason "Sire" Turnbull
Jesse "Corparal" Wilson
Lawton "Agent" Bouhairie
Mellbeats
Samuel "Sam Sneed" Anderson
Self B Tru

then a nice list of 12 other producers
