This is pretty interesting this guy is the actual genius behind New Edition and New Kids he was like a successor to Barry Gordy and what Barry Gordy did with Jackson 5 and Supremes..

He talks here about following Barry Gordy's legacy and sound and masterminding the magic behind New Kids this guy was the one pulling all the strings.
