It's hard to care about something you don't know exists.  How come you didn't make a post about it prior to the concert to spread the word when you noticed there were no posts about it?

Anyways, i just watched it now that you told me about it.  It was cool, the whole 'dissing Drake' thing is getting old.  Wish he would have done more of his catalog and not spent the last 20 minutes of the concert on the Drake disses that he just released on the internet.  Starting to turn into an obsession, Drake's gonna start getting at him for having such a hard on for him.

Cool to see Dre there, but wish he would've done the songs he did with Kendrick, like Compton and the Recipe, instead of just performing a few of his own songs.  Or even Deep Water from The Compton album.  That should tell you how Dre feels about that album, perfect opportunity to perform some of those songs, and he reverts back to the originals.  And to do California Love and then no shoutout to Pac from Kendrick or Dre?  That was wrong.

When Kendrick was doing MAAD City, I thought for sure MC Eiht was gonna come out for his part, but nothing, damn, what a missed opportunity to give it up for a legend.

Yeah song is cool i agree. But 4 songs and now a full concert basically dissing him the whole time?  I like a good battle record as much as the next guy. But No Vaseline was one out of 20 songs off Cube’s album. He wasn’t doing song after song after song and entire concerts dissing NWA.

All i’m saying is the dis was cool. Now K.dot needs to stop giving this dude his attention and move on and make another album.

Yo, Kendrick made history with his event. Like this show is a Global success, this was bigger than hip-hop. Now I don't know where some of you are from, but there is life outside of DUBCC.  Maybe this is where the disconnect is....

Would’ve been great to see Eiht out there, but this was really about Kendrick putting on for the newer generation of LA artists (aside from Dre).
And you’re right…I should’ve made a post…I sleep on this forum a lot as it moves pretty slow.  Still love it though.

As for the Drake shit…fuck Drake.  His dickriding and hopping on whatever is hot at the moment is what’s wrong with rap, and a big reason why so much shit sounds the same.

This concert showed the world that the West has its own sound and a lot of these new artists may get a bigger platform now.

Not Like Us the biggest west hit in 20 years or more man!   And it sounds like Kendrick has an album nearly ready to drop

Impressive concert, I like how he used it to show how ruthless he is with the beef with Drake, that’s like a warning to others that might think of testing him.

But at the same time, he used it to promote unity in the West.

Will go down in history.

Have watched it couple of times and catch reactions on YouTube.

Now what Kendrick need to give us, is a Westcoast sounding album, perfect follow up after this concert.

Even though K.Dot has has been amazing for over a decade, he has mostly shown he’s a great artist that can come out with different concept and sound and not boxed into a typical sound.

But the honest truth is, Dubcnn was built on Westcoast flavour and that sound gets more reaction on here.
Mainly because the users (including myself) are fans of that era.

I can’t remember but I’m sure GKMC was loved ok here, it’s time for K.Dot to give us another like that.

Or maybe a 2 sided album, one Westcoast-ish and 2nd one can be whatever concept he feels like.

The full concert was not dissing Drake.  He had 4 recent tracks out of an hour and half set (granted the last 20mins were Not Like Us, because the were apparently trying to get footage for a music video).  Plus, Euphoria Like That, and Not Like Us are actual hit records.  Not Like Us has already moved 2,000,000 units and moved back into #1 on some streaming services again.  Like That was a recent long running #1 track, that has moved over a million units and was still recently in the top 10. Euphoria would have been a #1 song, if Kendrick did not drop Not Like us a few days later. and well on its way to platinum in a short time.

No Vaseline was a great diss song, but not a hit single.  If Ice Cube had somehow managed to write three hit songs dissing NWA that were all in rotation in radio at the time and being played everywhere, you think he wouldn't perform them in concert?   In what world would an artist have a concert and not perform their 3 biggest most recent hits?

So far Kendrick has not said a peep since the songs spoke for himself he hasn’t posted Memes on IG before or during the beef like Drake has
Hasn’t ended any thing with a white flag himself either

However Kendrick’s impact resulted in a hit single from coast to coast if you look at Apple Music for New York LA and Atlanta etc..

Instead of basking in more hate with Drake or selfishly celebrating a hit single on top of it he brought LA out for a celebration and that’s Culture and being Humble he had new artist established artist all there as one

He is Leading the way to show unity and respect and love the west coast culture I have not seen that by Mexicans and Blacks in LA since Nipsey Hertz Funeral ride through Los Angeles

Kendrick was quite and never over played the beef the songs and people let the noise and amplify it .. just what I seen from it he is quiet as Dre is or even quieter as of late in my opinion….
