No, i didn't take it as a diss at all. I don't know if all the rappers would appreciate you 'blowing their cover' but it's refreshing to hear someone from the inside talk honestly about the biz and the rappers he's worked with on his records and be honest about how the rappers he works with are fronting and mainly rap in hypotheticals. We all kinda knew that's how it was for the most part, but it's nice to hear you stating that coming from the inside who has actually met these guys to tell us how they truly are. I remember Eazy used to dis Dre and calling him a studio gangsta, but like you said, many rappers these days are. Except RBX of course, you had said he was the exception.
i didn’t say much .. for instance, never said anyone is fronting .. i think dre himself will tell u he wasn’t out there killin people… sometimes music is just hyperbole …. like when u tell someone “fuck wit me and i’ll choke your ass to death” doesn’t really mean you’re going to literally kill them. there’s a difference between fronting and embroidery rooted in braggadocious masculinity.
So, you feel the rappers you've worked with are simply participating in braggadocious masculinity and hyperbole? Interesting take. I don't think i'd necessarily agree with that sentiment, but you've met and worked with these guys, so you obviously have a better understanding of them and the narrative you want to spread to the public about how these guys 'truly' are. Props for opening our eyes and our views. I always thought cats like Spice 1 and MC Eiht weren't like that, but now i'm seeing them in a different light.
Every time I hear from Clark (or Blark if that floats your boat ) he's either whining or lying about what happened between Tupac and Biggie. I hope he takes a deep breath of dis smoke. I welcome a entire diss track towards him, make it happen.
did u think they were mass murderers? spice 1 averages 5 bodies per song …. this is how u think he lives his life?
