what a run we had in the early 2000s.... for Snoop, Dre, Dpg affiliates. Even if these albums are personal classics, shit just to quote some classic CDs: 2001 Tha Last Meal Eastsidaz the 2 albums Dillinger & Young Gotti Tha Streets iz a Mutha Dpgc u know what i throwin up I got love in these streetz makaveli & Dillinger The Dogg Pound Gangsta Lp Personal Business Dat Woopty Woop Ripp tha game bloody Blacc Balled welcome 2 da chuuch mixtapes Libra & Options and the list is still long
missionary is the biggest letdown in a line of otherwise great albums from a 2024 west coast resurgence outside of snoop..dogg poundeastsidaz rbx ice cube dom kennedy kendrick lamar schoolboy qab soul dj quik problem mozzy daz vince staples..all released albums this year .. most of it was true to the core audience …. missionary was the only one that tried to cater to a different crowd and that’s part of why it’s not getting universal acclaim. hoping for this resurgence to continue in 2025, starting with the release of xzibit’s album, followed by my solo debut.
No offense, but RBX, mozzy, ab soul, etc. Aren't getting universal acclaim. No one outside of these boards even knows about the RBX release. No record stores carry it. Meanwhile Missionary is in every Target and Walmart across the county. So, i can agree with you as far as quality of music goes, but to say Missionary isn't getting universal acclaim like the others is so not true.
