Crooked I Mixtape AND Album will NOT sell, why?

He has been on the shelve too long! People were turning theyre heads for a hot minute during 2001-2002 but now everything he drops is either the same or just weak. He is past his use-by date!!!

This new Crooked mixtape from what I have heard contains recycled beats from Rocafella etc. Nobody will buy that but they are trying to sell it! they wont sell ONE! Why? because he isnt as hungry and fame has made him weak.

He's falling harder than Ja Rule.



His solo album will not sell half as many as expected, Deathrow fans will get it from IRC.

He used to be RAW and hot on the lyrical tip. Now its all about money and bitchs, Crooked I.... from HOT to.....flop!

dont know about the mixtape but the album might not sell because of the promotion Koch is kinda underground and they wont promote this the right way

Look JoshG, I respect your opinion about Death Row but why do you have to make a whole topic explaining why you think Death Row is dead? Everyone knows that you don't like Death Row so just leave it at that. And to say that none of the artists at Death Row have talent is bullshit. Crooked I is dope & so is Eastwood. But the truth is, nobody is fuckin with Tha Row no more. Take the Disfunktional soundtrack, its nothing but Commercial rap and r&b and didnt sell at all!!!

Crookeds mixtape if its sold online will sell about 50 copies max! mostly from tha row fans at there site. Everyone that likes Crook will get it off IRC.

His solo album when it comes out will struggle to match Disfunktional family sales or just beat it. Crookeds flow is old and hes selling out.

i dont get why they put 7 tracks on a mixtape. they should have put at least 15 and more ppl would buy it. i mean whos gonna purchase a mixtape for  7 songs for 10$

JoshG, from what i've heard, you aint exactly a Death Row fan.
That's cool, i'll not judge or hate on you. But see.. some of your point are not good, imo. For example, to say that everything Crooked I releases in "past", i can agree with you. He needs an album to prove you wrong. But hey, why all the Death Row haters are anticipanting the Daz version of the album? Isnt it even more "past"?

Talking about the mixtape, i agree. Death Row is SO sleeping that they need at least to keep releasing free mixtapes, to make fans stay loyal to the label they used to love, and to continue to appreciate Crooked I & Co.! But yes, to sell a mixtape with just a couple of tracks in it, yeah, that's not exactly a smart move. But i think they did it to check if Crooked I still got somehow a good fanbase. I think they just "scared" to release his album cause they talked so much about it that, if it'll not sell good, it will be the end for real. I think this one is the biggest mistake they did. They have to release QUANTITY more than QUALITY. Cause in the situation they are right now, they got NO promotion, so it's almost IMPOSSIBLE for them to sell millions. So that's the problem! Release a Crooked I album, then another one. Then a Kurupt one. Then ppl will start to talk about Death Row again, and not about Suge or about the beef. It's impossible to reach the 2,000,000 copies in those situations, so just release MORE albums and let's forget about sales. SALES ARE VERY IMPORTANT, but not always. I mean when you are in a situation where you are dead, and you need to resurrect, sales aint the most important thing at the beginning. Keep releasing HOT albums, that SALES will come. That's my opinion. That's their mistake, imo.
