I don't know man...I'm not saying he makes the beats from scratch but he certainly puts it all together by the end

and everything Dre has had his hand in up to maybe 2015 or so was either classic or dope

not feeling his production on Missionary but everything has an expiration date

Everytime dre is mentioned the "beat maker vs producer' discussion comes up..

Only dre. Never othets.

Yall are sayin dre is rick rubin (still no odea whst the man exactly does)

Soopafly DPGC:
Dre is a hiphop legend, no doubt about it.  From 87 to today, still doing it, even the staunchest Dre haters have to give him props for the longevity and the amount of hits he's had (whether he's fully produced them or had ghost writers, whatever).

Now, today is he overrated?  Absolutely.  Is the stuff he's producing today the best out there right now?  No, of course not.  Just like is E-40 the best rapper today?  Is Too Short the best rapper today?  No, they aren't.  But they still get their props for being legends, and i still enjoy listening to their songs at times.  Dre is in this category now.

Exactly, plus have you noticed everyone who says Dre stole their beats. stole their lyrics, he has no talent, etc...they all come back to work with him again?  So what's the deal?  Were they lying?  Does Dre really steal your beats and lyrics and you don't care now and you go back to him so he can steal from you again?  What kind of person does that make you?

Examples:
Sam Sneed
RBX
DOC
J-Flexx
DJ Quik
Crooked I

The list goes on and on.....

Dre been stealing beats for 40 plus years and somehow he keeps finding suckers to steal from??....FOR 40 YEARS!  Give me a break.
