yup

i don't care bout a critic score after a few hours of it being out ..dude posted a score with 11 ratings lollllll .. im going based off comments in the threads on the forums im peepin

go see what the posters on boxden & the coli is sayin in comparison to missionary

 :toobad:
I mean.... it isn't like it's less relevant than 8 people on here lol
I posted the users score, not the critics.

Still it's a bit weird to say that the reception is way better simply because 5 people on a west coast forum feel like it. But yeah, the reception is definitely gonna be better here because it has the west coast sound

Nah I'm not saying Missionary got a great reception, it was like a solid 3/5 at best, I just don't think it's fair to compare it to this new album. The world is not limited to couple of forums and pretty much no one will check out this album, so it's kinda hard to tell what people actually think of it.

Subject wise, this is a more mature album (for a Snoop project) he is addressing alot of things.

I just wish it had better west coast beats and production, I dont why all these artists cant do what they used to. The album art is misleading, it makes you think its going to be an old school crip sounding record

Replay value=0. Album is crap to me, except maybe 3 or 4 songs. Missionary might not have been your classic Snoop album but it's on a whole different level.

I haven't listened to the album yet, but based on the snippets it's already better than boring Missionary.

Also, me:

I bet Snoop's next album will be quite different, more "authentic" sounding. The direction Snoop takes his next album will tell us all how he really feels about Missionary.
"Detox" is a myth -- Bigfoot, Loch Ness Monster, Area 51, Iraq having WMD, Detox...you get it now?  It was invented by the Aftermath marketing department to maintain the fans' attention.  Notice how everytime a new Aftermath album is ready to come out, they always mention Detox is next up?  Because they are using the invention of "Detox" as a way to market other albums.  The sooner you realize that Detox is NOT REAL, the sooner you'll feel liberated.  Oh yeah, f.u. Aftermath for fooling us fans.

I'm almost done my first listen. I'm pretty disappointed. No way anyone in their right mind thinks this is better than Missionary. I agree Missionary wasn't that good, but there's so many bad songs on here.

It started promising, but the stretch from "you want my all" to "cold summer" is embarrassingly bad. Like five AWFUL tracks in a row. I can't believe how bad the Pharrell + Denaun Porter joints are.

So far, the best songs I've heard are Joy, Sophisticated Crippin', Just the Way It Iz, and Snoop Will make you dance.

There's also a bunch of decent songs at the beginning, but it just gets worse as it goes on.

I listened to it once. I wasn't a huge fan of Missionary, but to call this album way better than Missionary is crazy. Neither one is that good. Not a single track stuck out to me as very good on this album. Very boring.

Battlecat is also ruining his legacy with giving crap beats to snoop while he has bangers in his vault. Damn who the fuck are you keeping those bangers if they arent for snoop?

Who ever says this crap is better than missionary might be trolling or their parents never ever loved him when he was a child.
