If y'all really think this album is better than Missionary, y'all need your ears bleached out, then sold and replaced with new ears. Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves.

Lmao

I think we’re overly harsh on these artists. There’s a fanbase for all of it. I’m not a huge fan of the new music myself but I’m just thankful we’re getting new music from these guys

Nowadays, attention spans are limited. Hence, the new era of “the 2 verses theory of rap” we are currently in.

Attention spans are definitely limited ha but there used to be 1 or 2 verse tracks back in the day.

Ice Cube's Bird in the Hand is the perfect 2minute track

I think he had a couple others. Redman, Daz, few others come to mind.

Check slick rick's victory album if you want to witness how a legend can drop a dope album. Not 15-20 tracks, no 5 or 6 minutes long songs, no garbage and fillers, just 27 minutes album flows smoothly from top to bottom. Quality over quantity.

Gz UP, Hoez Down from Doggystyle only had 2 verses.
I have no issue with it personally.
It depends on the individual track.
I'd rather have 2 decent verses (keeping the track sharp and punchy), instead of 2 decent and a below average third verse or if the makes the track drag on.
I also like how some tracks doen't follow the standard structure of: verse, chorus, verse, chorus bridge, verse chorus.

I really enjoyed Snoop's 'Everywhere I Go' from The Last Meal, which didn't follow that structure at all

song was not on "Tha Last Meal" but on "Duces 'N Trayz: The Old Fashioned Way" unless you meant "Issues" which starts with the "everywhere i go" line.

He definately means "issues"

It's a fucking banger. Dr. Dre might have loved it tho' so then he mixed that shit. Shout out to Meech Wells.

'Issues' was initially called 'Everywhere I Go' in the Advance version of Tha Last Meal.
