Less known album fully produced by Battlecat:https://music.apple.com/pl/album/from-somethin-to-nothin/53806097?l=pl
Any source? Credits? Some songs are produced by battlecat but some are not.
I think all of them are. Source from Battlecat production resume in wikipedia - Don't know how legit this source is to be honest.
Except of Domino, Vontel, Eastwood, Boo Ya Tribe, there are a few more which are entirely produced by battlecat.J Thug - Hustlin Till I Fallhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfNIfmMoosg?si=X2Jh2EHDGdZyF-jMHoly D - God's Creation https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLL1zFVLEAMVLzFW4-AMbpIHWVI_wnB5cP&si=6LLmxqVUtU_GXcXMI think Holy D is not fully produced by Battlecat.Dazzy D - Re-Birthhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQU7fBcsCio?si=qlobLA6kFHErqYPFDazzy D - Where's My Receipthttps://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL1n9aA26SG_2ra1BUge39CdqDzLdhT2Li&si=HvPnviwh8trdSLLfDana Dane - Rollin Wit Dana Danehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ibxHuzSXxYY?si=ht9dh6eTG3MuDPooBlack Czer - Tales From Da Blak Sidehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YlfwXeXiO2E?si=pzk61ZFBhDUAAIuB
Yep, I really like the album just like everybody else. I'd put it neck-and-neck with Tha Eastsidaz EP for the best recent Death Row release.I have to give big props to Kurupt for dropping Love Letter. I would've never thought he had that in him. For once, he dropped the gangsta persona and made a real song about genuine human emotion. Congrats to him for having the artistic courage to make a song like that.Of course, I expect NY heads not to like this, because once again they are using very, very familiar Parliament samples, but Cat brought ought the energy in Ricardo, which is crucial! No lazy freestyles or gasping for air at the end of bars. It all sounds well-produced, and I really like the experimental style of Mindset as well. As somebody earlier said in this thread, songs like Love Letter and Mindset break up the monotony, and finishing with the most lyrical song was a smart move - as was opening with the most traditional Westcoast songs. It's just a smartly constructed album.I wonder if not having Daz's class clown-ass around made Kurupt more focused, or almost dying did. Or maybe it was just Cat. Who knows? But, yeah, good album. Thank you, Kurupt.
Context? U think all these projects are fire or just naming all Kurupt projects since Space Boogie? lolU forgot 420 Reloaded and the EP with Obie Trice btw
yeah if we're really being picky Tales From My Hood is technically not a solo eitherbut for all intensive purposes it is... at least to me
i'm tired of this new trend of producers being credited as artists on albums it's a solo just as much as doggystyle or thriller
its not new and this is not a solo
as a producer i support that actually it is about marketing, publishing and copyright.
new?dj polo and kool g raperic b and rakim. but i see u and got your point too!
