And as for Gonzoe, he seems like a cool guy, but only thing I know him from was yelling and screaming thru his less than impressive verse on “Survive Another Day” and I ain’t ever heard Pac mention him. No offense by the way, seems cool in interviews.
like u said.. only snoop is the top dog at the end of the day. the only person who might have seniority over him is rbx, since he is his elder and the OG of the crew.. but like u said, it's not a science. however, there is common knowledge and facts .. and the fact is that DPG was initially used to refer to the collective. this is not something that can be argued.
You are too much man, RBX being a more senior member of DPG than Snoop, Daz or Kurupt and who call call the shots over snoop??....man, RBX got you drinking the kool aid riding his nuts super hard. This is so laughable. If ANYONE was over Snoop, it would be The D.O.C. But even i don't think people think DOC is part of DPG, but if there's anyone who Snoop would fall back on, it would be him.
DOC is from Texas dude.. he's not a long beach family member who grew up with them. RBX is the OG of the crew. Snoop and Daz are his little cousins. I'm not sure u understand how dynamics work when it comes to the elders in a family tree. i mean, you didn't think RBX was DPG and that's never even been argued or in question. But somehow Soopafly who came around later and isn't even family is (based on your username) LOL! You thought Daz was the founder.. another funny one. So i don't really think your take on this is going to be exactly fair from the jump.
Why can't the 'so called' leader of the DPG, RBX, ever get Snoop on any of his albums? Even Daz or Kurupt aren't on anything other than some spoken word stuff. Seems weird that the underlings of RBX would do him like that.
he doesn't like to ask he can easily call snoop and ask for a verse, but there's pride involved .. he doesn't wana feel like he's in debt to them daz did the chorus to a song which ended up being used for an interlude .. then kurupt did the intro last minute but again, he just doesn't ask .. it was us who initiated that "make em shiver" interlude to begin with, x doesn't even care to do music with them because he doesn't like feeling dependent
Interesting. So when Snoop appears on a DPG song, RBX feels Daz and Kurupt are dependent on him. Like when Daz and Kurupt show up on a Tray Deee track, RBX feels Tray Deee is dependent on them and needs them for his album. That's a very interesting take RBX has on those guys. Not sure if they would be happy with that assessment, but everyone is entitled to their own thoughts. Appreciate the insight. So does RBX feel dependent and indebted to your camp, since your crew appeared on his album?
Not to get off on a side discussion about who are in Tha Outlawz, but I do feel Pac was the only one that could really put someone in the group, once he died, that was it. BUT, I don't know if you've listened to Gonzoe's album, but the intro track has EDI, Napleon, Kastro actually initiating him into Tha Outlawz as an official member and his alias being Young Ritzy. So there can definitely be a case made that he is in the group even though it was never when Pac was alive, although he was a member of Kausion, who Pac did do a few tracks with (Dumpin, This Life I Lead) and did give them a shout out.
Is Rage DPG?
im sure even if you ask daz he will tell a different story every time, depends who he is beefing with, if he is on coke or something.
i think with snoop, it's more the idea that everyone under snoop is basically treated like crumbs on his table that's just one way to view it ... i get it's the more pessimistic way to see things, but rbx has dealt with snoop way more than i have, so he would know more than i would with us, we're obviously not on snoop level stature wise, so doing an album wit us doesn't come off the same as doing an album wit snoop would ala "oh he just another one of snoops undercards"it's an interesting outlook, but some people simply enjoy the freedom of independence + doin their own thing more and don't like asking for favors or handouts
