COMPTON VS. MISSIONARY ... WHICH DO YOU PREFER?
TraceOneInfinite:
I listened to Missionary once the whole way through and then never again...
Compton I consider one of the last great hip-hop moments in time, where you just have vivid and distinct memories of that whole era of months with the release of the movie and album/soundtrack
I mean I think the album was up to Dre's gold standard and I listened to it non-stop for like 6 months st8 when it was released. The way Dre comes in like "I Just Bought California..." I can still remember literally where I was driving on the road in Kansas City when he hit that note still gives me chills.
Jay_J:
Yesterday night i went back to missionary and only track i skipped was "outta da blue"... rest was really joyfull... especially tracks that sam sneed was involved really makes diffference to the album.
i think it's pretty decent album.
