I would have prefered a beat like Got Beef over what they rapped to...it sounds like a beat they woulda gave Kelis...as I said before, Grindin or somethin hard woulda been coo but not a pop song with Tha Eastsidaz

I have respect for the Neptunes for the NERD album that they released cause that was dope as hell. I even quite like some of their rnb beats like that track they did for Babyface that was hella dope, but I hate when they give rappers rnb beats, that just pisses me off. The only dope hiphop tracks they have really done are Grindin, Superthug and When's The Last Time, other than that most of it has been garbage which gets play in the clubs and is alright for that, but isn't the sort of stuff you can see yourself bumping every day cause it justs gets repetitive very quickly.

To be honest, unless this track sounds west coast it is gonna be wack, simpy because the flows of the Eastsidaz, especially Tray Dee's are perfectly suited to west coast tracks, but put an east coast track in front of them and it simply doesn't sound right. We all know that this will probably get play on the radio just cause it's the Neptunes, but if it's wack then you can be sure the play ain't gonna last long, cause there will be some other cat on a Neptunes beat who can actually flow on it bringing out a single like a week or two later simply because the Neptunes seem to be on everything at the moment.

You know it's Snoop's influence which has put the Neptunes on here, and I am still hoping that he hasn't exerted the same influence over Warren and Nate for the 213 album because I most certainly don't wanna hear any Neptunes tracks on that album.

btw not all the neptunes beats are bad, alot are tight as fuck but it's what the songs are about that are really pop for me with pharrel on the hooks and shit they're all love songs, if the eastsidaz and snoop come hard core on one a those beats its all good for me

thas exactly what i was sayin earlier....just because dre switched from g-funk doesn't mean he was doin east coast beats...even his shit for the firm, and beats like zoom zoom zoom, and then the chronic 2001 beats, were all his own original style...u never heard east coast beats sound like that, he just re-invented what the west coast sound was...the only thing is that most producers kept makin g-funk beats instead of followin his new trend, except for a few tracks from fred wreck that sound like dre.
