Hip Hop lines that stay stuck in your head…

Eminem “Trife Thieves”

I hate my life/
That’s why I degrade my wife
Went to the kitchen to make a sandwich
And just ate the knife

If he said this now it wouldn’t hit that hard it would just be a dope line, but back then they were marketing him as some down and out trailer park trash and there was also some story about him attempting suicide, and of course there really was serious domestic abuse between him and Kim.

So I can’t help it but whenever I’m feeling depressed this line always pops in my head even all these years later since it got leaked in 99’ the song was mostly only found on bootlegs, but vintage late 90’s era Eminem

I hope you guys aren’t confusing great lines with ear worm/stuck in your head lines.  Yes, my Eminem one was both—a great line and a line that gets stuck in my head because everytime I say to myself “I hate” anything, like if I’m mad—then the line pops in my head.

Like everytime I miss a girl, my internal dialogue voice involuntarily will say “I miss…” followed by the ear worm..

“I miss Mr. Magic/
Versatile/
My style/“

Nas “Halftime”

“Buy tapes don’t lend um”

This line from Bone 7 Sign always got stuck in my head because it’s such an odd line.  I mean they are rapping about all this cryptic and dark stuff, Bizzy is poppin off about whatever hellafied as shit and then kind of out of nowhere this cat makes a very clear statement like it’s some generic TV commercial or caution sticker,

“Buy Tapes don’t lend him” he’s really concerned we don’t loan tapes, lol

7 Sign and Wasteland Warriors stuck in my head a lot especially the last few days
