On this day in 1996, 2Pac went over to Ice-T's studio and recorded the original version of "One Day At A Time" with Bay Area friend Spice 1, Headstrong, & LP. This was the original version of the song as it was recorded while 2Pac was on Death Row Records but since it was at Ice-T's studio, it wasn't saved by Death Row but by the producer Hen Gee and Spice-1. The song was later horribly remixed on the 2Pac "Resurrection' album by Eminem aka Feminem which removed the original artists of Spice 1, Headstrong & LP and added himself and the Outlawz E.D.I. Mean & Hussein Fatal. It is possible Fatal recorded his verse prior to knowing Eminem produced it as Fatal was with Ja Rule at time dissing Eminem for Em stealing Pac's stuff and beefing with Ja over 50.

The original version of "One Day At Time" would be put out on Spice 1's "The Ridah" album.

Produced by: Hen-Gee
