Agreed. It's fine, but it's subject matter he's covered before. Decent album cut but doesn't seem like a strong single to me.

Feels like Cube can't win. Some of y'all complain it sounds "west coast" or subject matter he's covered before.

But if he made a forced radio single that strays from his sound, you'd be complaining even more.

Just enjoy a good record and be happy Cube is dropping another album so soon!

i personally like that he's stickin wit a west coast sound true to himself and not chasing trends

Hip hop isn’t to blame for the issues in society. It’s literally been going on before there was hip hop. Sign me up for more social commentary Ice Cube.

My own father educates me on ills in the black community when I talk about the Panthers so I know Cube not going out on a limb here
I was just getting into Vice Lord history last week and they've been active since the 60's
For some reason..... I'm getting a "self hate" vibe here
Probably because I'm so use to Cube being a voice for the culture, the movement, the community, the disenfranchised
