Tha Liks - X.O. Experience

Their last album Likwidation was a big disappointment for me so I didn't have huge expectations for this new one. It turned out much better than I had envisioned, and was one of the tightest releases in 2001 in my opinion. "Run Wild" was the shit, I used to play that track 24/7...  8)

Can't think of much else... I normally expect good albums from all hiphop artists so I had to ponder a while for this one, anyway good topic, Props.

Jay Z - The blueprint pt. 1 because I didn't like any prior released before that besides "Reasonable doubt".

36 Chambers

I had no idea there was hype around it. Just picked it up at the time cause the cover looked cool, and I was just getting into hip hop. To this day it's one of my 5 faves.
